London, 5th March 2010 – The continuing expansion of GAB Robins’ Casualty operations has led to the creation of a new senior operational management role focused on client service delivery. The company has appointed Mark Wookey as its first Casualty Operations Manager.
Mark, who joins the company from Merlin Claims Services, will be responsible for all operational management directly aligned to the continual improvement of the service delivered to GAB Robins’ clients. He will work closely with the Casualty Service Line team to ensure the highest standards for service are provided.
Commenting on the development of the operation, Kim Alcock, Casualty Director, said: “GAB Robins has a clear and ongoing commitment to investing in the growth of the Casualty Service Line. We are building an experienced team focused on customer service that is gaining increasing interest from clients and attracting high profile industry talent such as Mark.
“We believe our clear service-orientated approach gives us a strong position in a market where many are losing focus on clients’ needs. This new role has come as a direct result of the success of this strategy.”
GAB Robins will shortly be announcing further senior appointments in the Casualty division.
Mark was Southern Regional Liability Manager at Merlin with responsibility for several national client accounts and business development for the Liability division. In his role he was extensively involved in the restructure of the division and establishing its market proposition.
He has over 18 years of industry experience across liability, household, commercial and motor lines. His areas of specialism include employers’ and public liability claims, high value personal injury and property damage claims. /ends… For further information, contact:
